Jammu, Dec 15: A medical camp on "Screening & Cardio Cheek-Up" was organised by BSF Jammu with the help of HOD, Deptt of Cardiology, GMCH Jammu and his team of Paramedical staff, Govt. Super Specialty Hospital, GMCH Jammu at BWWA community center, Frontier HQ BSF Jammu, Paloura for the families, children & serving persons of BSF.
Dr. Karnail Singh, Commandant (Medical) BSF Jammu organized the camp and gave the welcome address. The medical camp was inaugurated by Dr. Sushil Sharma, HOD, Deptt of Cardiology, GMCH Jammu.

He told that heart diseases are the world's leading cause of death. Overeating, lack of exercise, unhealthy diet and high blood pressure, raised cholesterol and glucose level are all factors which can trigger heart diseases and threatens our lives.
About 200 BSF personnel and their families were present on the occasion and immensely benefited from this medical camp. |
