Srinagar, Dec 16 : The Kashmir valley remained cut off from the rest of the country by road for the fourth day on Monday following closure of Srinagar-Jammu national highway due to snow and fresh landslides and shooting stones. The historic 86-km-long Mughal road and Anantnag-Kishtwar roads also remained closed due to snowfall for the sixth day, a traffic police official told UNI this morning. Meanwhile, the national highway, the only road connecting Union Territory (UT) of Ladakh region with the Kashmir valley, remained closed for the past six days.
