Jammu, Dec. 26: Krishna Club Akhnoor and Christian Sports Organization Jammu registered their empathetic win against their opponents and entered in the next stage of “AOI Christmas T20 Cricket Championship”
In the first match Krishna Club Akhnoor defeated Raja Warriors by 3 runs. Batting first Krishna Club Akhnoor scored 139 runs for 5 wickets in the allotted 18 overs with Lovely 45,Gagan 29 and Deepak 23 runs. From bowling side Deepu took 3 wickets Nishu and Sumit took 1 wicket each . In reply Raja Warriors could not chased the target and managed to score 136 for all wickets thus lost the match by 3 runs . Nishu 34 Ridham 26 and Ragav 14 runs were the main scorers. From bowling side Gagan took 3 wickets, while Rajinder and Vikram took 2 wickets each. Gagan was adjudged as Man of the match.
In another match Christian Sports Organization Jammu defeated AOI/ASCOMS XI by 7 wickets.
Batting first AOI/ASCOMS XI scored 85 runs for the loss of all wickets in the allotted 16 overs with Karan 25 runs, Farhad 12 and Yuvraj 11 were the main scorers. From bowling side Samiullah took 5 wickets, Sunny took 2 wickets and Majid took 1 wicket. In reply Christian Sports Organization Jammu chased the target in 12.5 overs for the loss of 3 wickets thus won the match by 7 wickets. Abdul Majid unbeaten 75 runs with 4 fours and 6 sixes and Ali 11 runs were the main scorer. From bowling side Owais, Yuvraj and Basit took 1 wicket each. Ab.Majid declared man of the match.
Tomm Fixture : Samba Cricket Club V/S Sukhdev Cricket Academy on 9.30 am and KC Sports Club V/S Lakshmi Cricket Club at 12.30 pm informed by Rajesh Gill Org. Secy of the event.
