JAMMU, Jan 2: BJP District Jammu under the leadership of its President Vinay Kumar Gupta, conducted a awareness meeting cum workshop on citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) of party leaders, which was addressed by senior party leaders at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi and Sunil Sharma, Dy. Mayor Purmina Sharma and former MLA Rajesh Gupta addressed the workshop. Baldev Singh Billoria Incharge Jammu District, Ankush Gupta Incharge Gandhi Nagar Mandal, Kuldeep Kandhari Incharge Jammu East and Satpal Choudhay Incharge Satwari Mandal were amongst the prominent BJP leaders present in the workshop. Kavinder Gupta, while speaking in the workshop, gave detailed account of all the relevant history and the episodes pertaining to the birth of the CAA Act. He explained in detail about the dire need of the Act and said that it was due to take birth many years before the present time but due to the appeasement policies going on in the Nation by Congress, Communists and their allies, the Act got delayed adding to the woes of the sufferers. Dr. Narinder, spoke about the upcoming programmes for the mass awareness on the Act and discussed all the details, how to take them to booth level. Various programmes included in the campaign are Signature Campaign, Door to Door campaign minimum 3000 houses in Jammu District and public rallies. |
