| Class IV employees seek change in nomenclature, project other demands | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 2: An event was organized by United Class IV Forum J&K in association with Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) wherein JKTF granted affiliation to United Class IV Forum J&K.
The programme was attended by a large number of Class IV employees and members of JKTF belonging to various districts.
While addressing the gathering president of the forum Sunny Kumar Sadhu urged upon the authorities to change the nomenclature of the Class IV to Office Assistant as this will give them a social upliftment while it has already been implemented by various departments.
The Department of Sheep Husbandry has changed the nomenclature of Shepherds to Stock Assistant and Srinagar Municipal Corporation has changed the nomenclature to Sanitation Associates, he said.
Forum also highlighted the various issues including the revision of Grade Pay of Class IV employees at par with central government employees, regular conduct of DPCs / promotions in a time bound manner and to do away with delay in time bound promotion cases etc.
We appeal to concerned authorities to clear all the pending issues of promotion of Class IV employees such as court cases etc.
The members of executive body were also honoured by the chairman JKTF Ganesh Khajuria. |
