UDHAMPUR, Jan 16: Chief Planning Officer, Udhampur Rajeev Bhushan organized an interactive session on Decentralized Planning & Economic Development at DC Office Complex.
At the outset, CPO briefed the gathering about the role of Planning & Statistics fraternity in generating reliable & timely data for effective planning through participatory process involving PRI’s.
Former Director General, Economics & Statistics JK, G.A. Qureshi delivered an interactive lecture on decentralized planning. He exhorted the cadre to conceptualize innovative ideas based on the statistics tools and use statistical data in planning.
He also motivated the cadre to work with dedication at all levels for maintaining data reliability and standard of professionalism as the Planning fraternity has its significant as well as pivotal role in the development of J&K.
DSEO, Udhampur, Assistant Directors ‘P&S’ CPO Office/ CMO Office, Statistical Officers of DDC Office Udhampur/SE, PWD’R&B’ Reasi-Udhampur Circle Office Udhampur, Statistical Assistants & Jr. Statistical Assistants posted in various offices across the District were present on the occasion.
