January 19, 1990 was a Doom's Day for Kashmiri Pandits: NYC | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 19: Nationalist Youth Congress youth Wing of NCP Under the chairmanship of Er. Rishi Kilam National Joint Secretary showed grief and said that the day of 19th January 1990 was the most unfortunate and dooms day for Kashmiri Pandits who were compelled to leave their native place because of some political leaders and the miscreants in the valley. He also said that this day will be remembered as a black day in the history was the brotherhood of Hindus and Muslims was broken. The right thinking Muslim brothers still have regrets for this unholy episode. The Kashmir pandits right from that day till now are living a miserable life as refugees in their own country and Union territory. The Central government is not bothered to pay any attention towards their plight,demands and grievances. Er.Rishi Kilam added that despite of the fact that the Kashmiri pandit community is living in exile have still patience to bear their pain and grief but it is shameful on the part of central government to neglect the community. |
