| JMC Mayor starts installation of LED street lights | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 21: Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Chander Mohan Gupta today started the installation work of street lights through EESL (Energy efficiency Service Ltd.) in the areas of Shiv Nagar, Raj Pura Mangotrian etc of W.No.33.
EESL was the long pending project which has been started with the active efforts being taken by Mayor from the last one year and LED lights have been installed firstly in all the newly created wards of JMC on the demands of concerned Councillor as well as general public.
Mayor further informed that about 75,000 LED lights will be installed through EESL in all the wards of Jammu city in the shortest span of time by replacing the old & defunct lights and will be maintained by them.
Moreover work on other Major Projects such as Multi storey parking at Panjthirthi and Modern cattle Pond at Nagrota have also been expedited by Jammu Municipal Corporation.
