Most of the wooden poles here have been damaged years ago, as per locals after which the Power Development Department (PDD) replaced few with iron poles. The wooden electricity poles installed on the fields have also become a hindrance for both farmers and animals during the cultivation season. Fearing any casualties caused due to improper arrangement of the electric poles, the villagers expressed their anguish over the 'indifferent response' of the department, they further said, "We have reported this troubled condition to the concerned department but we are always leave unheard, local said. |
