Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Jan 25: After allowing down way traffic for two straight days, vehicles will ply from Jammu to Srinagar on Saturday on the national highway, the only road connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country. No vehicle will be allowed from opposite direction, a traffic police official said this morning. Almost all meat shops in Kashmir valley, including Srinagar, remained shut as they could not get supply of sheep from Rajasthan, Delhi and other states due to frequent closure of the highway. He said today traffic will ply from Jammu to Srinagar on the highway after five days. However, Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) will have to cross Nagrota before 1000 hrs , he said, adding Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs), including trucks carrying essentials, oil and LPG tankers, will be allowed in the afternoon.
