CUTTAK, Jan 25: J&K Women's (Under-23) Cricket team scored an easy 7-wickets win over Meghalaya in the ongoing Women's Under-23 One Day Trophy being played at Ravenshaw University Ground 2, Cuttack (Orrisa).
Meghalaya, who won the toss elected to bat first. The Meghalayan women were bundled out for only 85 runs in 39.3 overs in their innings. For J&K, Ananya Sharma was the pick of bowlers, who bagged 5 wickets by conceding just 34 runs in 9.3 overs. Ananya was awarded a ball for her superlative performance with the arm.
Chasing a target of 86, the J&K women achieved it in just 31.5 overs after losing only 3 wickets there by winning the match with 7 wickets.
