Poonch, Feb 12: In his brief visit District Development Commissioner Poonch Mr. Rahul Yadav, today paid a surprise visit to Various Govt institutions of Mandi Tehsil to enquire about the presence of Medical staff there and about the functioning of the hospitals.
During the surprise visit DDC found many employees absent from their duties. Later he seized the attendance record , He also locked the main gate of a Teshil headquater Mandi after founding the staff absent there .
While talking to the media DDC said that the proper enquiry will be initiated against the absentees .DDC directs the officials there to work honestly and serve the people at large.
People appreciated the surprise visit of the Deputy commissioner and appealed him to conduct such visits in future too. DC ordered explanation of BMO Mandi , and stopped salary of 27 employees of Health ,CAPD, ICDS, RDD and education and suspended four officials of Health and education. |
