| Terror module busted in Budgam, 5 arrested, arms seized | | |
Srinagar, Feb 12: Police on Wednesday busted a terror module in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Acting on specific information, Budgam police arrested five terror associates and seized arms and ammunition and other incriminating material from their possession.
The five individuals were identified as Shahnawaz Ahmad Wani, Nasir Ahmad Wani, Bilal Ahmad Khan, Irfan Ahmad Pathan, who are residents of Gundipora's Beerwah, and Ali Mohd Bhat, who is a resident of Warihama, Beerwah.
On preliminary enquiry, it was found that these terror associates are affiliated with terrorist outfit ISJK and are involved in providing shelter and logistic support to terrorists.
A case was registered under relevant sections of the law against the five accused at Beerwah Police Station and an investigation was launched. |
