Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 12: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir has appealed Lieutenant Governor to issue instructions for immediate relief on the injustice done to students in Jammu University including full internet restoration in Jammu and Kashmir. Shiv Sena leaders headed by party president Manish Sahni continued their membership drive outside Jammu University today and called the non-restoration of Internet services in Jammu and Kashmir to be a mess with the future of the students. Manish Sahni reacted strongly to the fees being collected in the name of Wi-Fi in the University of Jammu and said that the vice-chancellor would have to immediately withdraw and refund the recovery, while demanding that the social media ban at the University of Jammu be removed immediately. Sahni said that the ban on internet services is playing with the future of students. About 400 youths have joined the Shiv Sena, influenced by the policies and ideas of the party. President Mahila wing Meenakshi Chibber, Gen Secretary Vikas Bakshi, GI Singh, Vice president Harsh Kumar Gupta, Vikas Dewan , President Reasi Bhuri Singh, President RS Pura Sanjeev Soodan, Secretary Parveen Gupta, Rakesh Handa were present. |
