Learning Temple School celebrates Annual Sports Day

Jammu, Feb 18: Learning Temple English Medium School organised its Annual Sports Day-2020 for Primary Class Students today. Pardeep Singh, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Lakhanpur inaugurated the Function by passing on ‘the Insignia” of the school to the contestants while Sunita Verma, State Committee Member, Mahilla Yog Smiti (Jammu Kashmir) performed as Guest of Honour. Naresh Kumar, Chairman of the School welcomed the Chief Guest and other VIPs and the contestants. All the contestant students looked well-dressed in different colourful Sports Dress and the whole atmosphere was full of joy and enthusiasm. Teaching Staff also observed their dress-code. The event started with a Patriotic Song followed by “Yog Aasan’s Demo Show” which impressed the Chief Guest and all other Guests a lot. The coordination within the Yog Team received lot of applause. Then series of events (5 per Class from Ist to 5th Standard) continued during the day long event. Class Ist and 2nd competed in “Duck Race, Spoon & Lemon Race, Pick the coloured Ball & Run, Obstacle Race & Finish the Grapes” in the middle of applause throughout. Students of Class 3rd & 4th completed in “Balloon Race, Book Balancing on Head Race, Make a Pyramid, One-Leg Race and Flag Race”. The winners were announced then and there for each event.
