| Training imparted to Anganwadi workers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 18: UIDAI today organized a training of Anganwadi workers at MLTC (ICDS), Jammu.
Training was conducted at MLTC Jammu for new Anganwadi workers of Udhampur district who were nominated to work as Aadhaar operators after qualifying the exam.
UIDAI officials encouraged the workers to work as Aadhaar operators and imparted basic knowledge of Aadhaar Enrolment process.
The training focused on exam pattern for clearing exam of new candidates, new Child Enrolment Lite Client application, its features, procedures to be followed during Aadhaar enrollment process.
The CELC application works on tablets and is targeted for children below 5 years of age and this is being done by Anganwadi workers by either working in camp mode or visiting door to door for child enrolment. In addition to this, the residents can visit their concerned CDPO offices also to get their children enrolled and get mandatory biometric updates done for children who have attained age of 5 years and 15 years.
