| Food Safety Department fines five defaulters | | |

KISHTWAR, Feb 21: A team of Food Safety Department under the supervision of a Assistant Director Food Safety Kishtwar conducted intensive market checking especially dealing with chicken shop in the market and book five FBOs under insanitary conditions and Rs 600 was collected as fine from the 7 persons who were smoking in the public place under COTPA 2003.
Further all food business operators were directed to keep their food products covered and in hygienic conditions and follow the rule of food safety otherwise they will be booked under law. |
