Work of Andorlla Bridge lying incomplete since 2014

Rajouri, Feb 21: The works of Androlla Bridge in Rajouri district has been lying incomplete since 2014. According to the sources the bridge connects eight villages with district headquarters but all the villages are suffering badly.
Locals of the area informed early times that locals especially students, employees and labourers in daily routine suffer a lot. Locals said even they have approached to district administration hundreds of time and have blocked the road many time, but no action after assurance by district administration has been taken. Some locals including Ashok Sharma, Shahid Ali, Amit sayal, Ashok and Gautam in this regard said, they have approached the then Deputy Commissioners of Rajouri including Shahid Iqbal Choudhary and Mohd Aijaz Asad time to time, who assured to start the construction of said bridge as early as possible, but locals are still waiting for the completion of the work as it is progressing with snail’s pace.
When contacted with present Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri Mohammad Nazir Sheikh regarding the very slow work on the project , he claimed that the construction of bridge is on the top priority and has also assured its completion as early as possible in present year.
Locals have also appealed to Lt. Governor GC Murmu to intervene into the matter and do solve it.
