BJP J&K General Secretary and former Minister Sunil Sharma chaired the meeting to discuss issues projected by VDC members. Former MLA Dalip Singh Parihar, former District President Reasi Kuldeep Dubey, senior leader from Inderwal Tariq Hussain Keen and others party senior leaders were also present in the meeting.
VDC deputation highlighted various grievances before the senior BJP leadership while calling for their immediate intervention to end their woes.

They said that though they are not providing their services for the money, but even then some meager facilities are necessary for the continuation of their services, so that they can feed and save their families as well, while they are saving the region from deadly acts of militants.
