Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Mar 2: A district meeting was held at Rajouri District Headquarters which was attended by Chief Patron Prof. Bhim Singh and other party leaders.
The meeting was presided by District President Mushtaq Ahmad, Vice-President Hoshiyar Sharma and others. The Panthers Party District leadership declared that the membership campaign has launched and hundreds of fresh volunteers have joined the Panthers Party from different walks of life. Young Panthers and NPSU have also started campaign to enroll the fresh membership. The Panthers Party also declared that district shall give active participation in the 23rd March Foundation Day which is being held in Jammu.
Anita Thakur, General Secretary-JKNPP emphasized that the party should enroll the girls and the unemployed youth. The district has constituted a women and trade union wing in the district which has been working very actively for two decades. She also called on the administration to constitute district recruitment boards and assured that the basic rights of J&K Residents shall be maintained.
Panthers expressed grave concern over non-availability of fertilizers, healthy seeds and scarcity of irrigation facilities in the entire district. The meeting demanded regular and proper functioning of the schools in the remote and far-flung areas which are in bad irregular condition.
District President Mushtaq Ahmad assured that the membership of the party shall reach every village in the district before March 15, 2020. Several Panthers Party activists raised alarm that there is no power supply, shortage of drinking water and internet is not working at all. In a resolution the district meeting demanded restoration of 4G network and repairs of all roads which connect Rajouri town with its own stations like Thana Mandi, Drahal, Budhal, Bakouri and all other block and Tehsil headquarters connections.
