Jammu, Mar 8: In yet another incident of shooting stone, a truck driver was killed and three injured on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Deva Ram of Rajasthan.
According to Police, the truck was stranded on highway and came under shooting stone resulting in on the spot death of the driver while his helper had a miraculous escape. In another incident, the shooting stones hit another truck, carrying LPG cylinders, at Khoni Nallah area in which two persons suffered minor injuries, police said.
Meanwhile, Srinagar-Jammu highway remained blocked due to landslides and shooting stones at several places between Ramban - Banihal stretch. |
