DBPS organises Holi Milan

JAMMU, Mar 8: To promote co-existence and brotherhood among the society, Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) on Sunday organised Holi Milan function in the premises of DBPS, where a large number of people from different part of life participated.
President of the Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) Ved Parkash Sharma presided over the simple and very impressive function, Tawi Andolan President Chander Mohan Sharma was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Addressing the function (DBPS) President Ved Parkash Sharma highlighted the importance of this Holi festival adding that this festival teaches us how to live in Union with other Caste, Colour, and Creed. He also stressed on the need that all festivals should be celebrated with fervour and enthusiasm so that unity of the country remain intact and nobody should raise the figures against anybody.
While speaking the occasion Sr. Member of the Sabha Advocate P.C. Sharma stressed for communal harmony brotherhood. Cultural programme was also held where the well known singers sung a Holi Festival Bajan. This function was also celebrated with different natural colours. Preeti Bhog was also organized on the occasion in which large number of people participated it.
