NGO 'Jiyo Aur Jeene Do' organizes Women’s

JAMMU, Mar 8: Members of NGO 'Jiyo Aur Jeene Do' organized an event in their office on the occasion of International Women's Day in which women were honored for their unprecedented contribution to the society. A large number of women present at the event first kept one minute's silence for the tragic incident of the riots in Delhi and prayed to prevent the spread of corona virus disease spreading across the world. In the programme emphasis was given to give due respect to women in society. Vice-secretary of the organization Samina Naz also encouraged women to move forward and work for the family and society. Samina Naz and Neelam Devi were honored by the organization for their immense hard work and contribution in the upliftment of the society. The President of NGO Tariq Shah, thanked all the attendees. On this occasion, Chandar Mohini also talked about the discrimination being done in the society and asked all the people to change their outlook. The organization's Poornima, Kiran, Jyoti Devi, Shakuntala, Santosh Kumari, Rahat Mughal, Krishna, Tarun, Dev Bajal, Ram, Geeta, Rajni, Soma and man were present in the programme.
