Kalakote, Mar 25: On first day of 21 days long lockdown declared in the country to curb the Coronovirus (Covid-19), the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kalakote, Krishan Lal paid surprise visit at various offices fall under essential services in Sub division Kalakote. Accompanied by Chairman Municipal Committee, Kalakote Vijay Suri, SHO Kalakote Sanjay Koul and other officers/officials, the ADC Kalakote conducted surprise check at various places/wards of Kalakote town and checked preparations done to curb the Coronavirus. The ADC directed, the officers/officials deployed under essential services to maintain social distancing while performing duties. The ADC also appealed the public “be inside, be safe”. The ADC told media persons that a makeshift 100 bedded isolation centre has been established in the town. “We have established, a 100 bedded isolation centre at Girls Hostel Kalakote to overcome any emergency if arise”, he added. The MC staff under leadership of its Chairman conducted disinfectant/fogging drive in all the wards of town on first of 21days long lockdown. Meanwhile, the SHO Kalakote also conducted surprise check at various places fall under the jurisdiction of Kalakote Police Station. |
