Jammu, Mar 25: As the country is reeling under complete lockdown to defeat deadly Coronovirus a fake order regarding restoration of 4G internet service in Jammu, division went viral this evening on Social media. However, the Home department disowned fake order taking round on Whatsapp groups. Some mischievous element created a fictitious and doubtful draft under the name of Home Department Civil Secretariat, Jammu with subject, “High-speed (4G) mobile internet Restoration in Jammu of J&K UT”. However, the order no. Home/Ts/Ts/2020 was itself was doubtful and same has been denied by the Home Department. It is pertinent to mention here that the entire administration of Union Territory of J&K is leaving no stone under turned to defeat the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19), and at the same instead of contributing in the ongoing efforts of the administration some elements are trying spread fake information among the masses. “The 2-G internet services in J&K were restored on conditional bases and being regularly reviewed by the administration, such incidents that too in time when the entire world is going through an emergency erupted due to Coronavirus, could have adverse affect further action regarding internet services in J&K”, a senior Police Officer said, adding that it is tough time for Police to make sure proper lockdown in J&K, such irresponsible incidents should be avoided. “The rumor mongering will not be allowed to create a mess in society and soon they will be behind the bars”, the officer added. |
