Jammu, Mar 28: Kisan Sabha has expressed concern over the plight of labourers from Jammu and Kashmir, who have gone for labour works in rest of the country and have been stranded. According to press release, president Hari Chand Jalmeria in consultation with its vice presidents Sayed Rafiq Shah, Udey Chand, HS Lalotra, Balwant Singh and general Secretary Th. Dewan Chand, Secretary Mohinder Andotra, Ravi Kumar, Chuni Lal Mistri appealed the Central government and governments of different states to reach out to these labourers and stranded people and provide them necessary help for survival or make special arrangements for their return to the respective homes. They have also shown concern over the loss caused to the vegetable growing farmers who are unable to send their vegetables to market. |
