COVID-19: Students allege mismanagement at Kathua quarantine centre | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Mar 28: The quarantined hundreds of peoples including students at Kathua amidst COVID-19 alleged mismanagement on the part of district administration, as sanitation is being compromised. Some students including girls at quarantined centre alleged that they facing huge dearth of proper facilities including drinking and sanitation and demanded proper isolation and care from the local administration. According to a video accessed by Early Times, the students seen cursing the functioning of Kathua district administration. They alleged that neither toilets have properly being sanitized, nor proper arrangements for eating and drinking. Even they alleged that more than dozen persons have been forced to stay in one room and due to which the fear of infection is looming in these persons who have been quarantined for their safety. Reports emerging from these centres reveal that some people are also suffering from hypertension and Hyperglycemia. Deputy Commissioner Kathua was not available. |
