GDC Udhampur starts COVID-19 helpline

Udhampur, Mar 28: Announcing the start of dedicated COVID-19 Online Helpline, Prof. (Dr.) Nutan Kumar Resutra, Principal, GDC Udhampur appreciated the Healthcare professionals, Administrative Officials and Security Personnel who, without regard for their own safety, are fighting this epidemic on the frontline, and said that in this difficult time, everyone should do their part for our great country. Dr. Resutra emphasized that the best contribution every citizen can make towards fighting this epidemic is to stay indoors, and Govt. Degree College Udhampur is fully committed to providing every possible assistance and required tools to both teachers and students to facilitate the Teaching Learning process at home. He reassured the students that they need not worry, and they should stay indoors at home and focus on their studies. In a press release, Dr. Resutra said that to raise awareness about the threat of COVID-19, an online helpline has been started at https://devikacloud.in/helpline where students can ask questions and clarify their doubts. The helpline will also guide students about various Entrance Examinations and career options available to them. Online Applications for NET Examination in various subjects had recently been announced by the UGC, whereas NEET Examinations has been postponed due to the threat of COVID-19. Dr. Resutra enunciated the engagement of Govt. Degree College Udhampur with its students through the Devika Cloud Online Portal, and said that the faculty is working around the clock to provide information, guidance and counselling to students through Online Mode.
