3/28/2020 10:48:39 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 28: Consumer Welfare Association, Jammu (CWA) held a tele-meeting of its members , appealed to all the citizens of India, particularly UTs of J&K and Ladakh to strictly abide by the appeal of our PM Narinder Modi and remain within the four walls of their homes so as to be safe from the onslaught of deadly Corona Virus COVID-19. CWA appreciates the steps being taken by the Govt to ensure supply of essential commodities to the residents of J&K for sustenance during this trying period of lockdown. But we also request all the concerned departments to ensure that the dealers do not overcharge . For this they need to be moving in the markets and frequently checking the shops selling rations, fruits, vegetables, medicines , milk and milk products etc.Team CWA is ready to go with these officials as and when required. Our police is doing a great job of ensuring that only eligible persons are allowed to come on to the streets and are earning great appreciation for their role. Our Doctors and paramedics are doing a godly duty with all safety precautions without worrying about their selves , and the Govt of India has rightly provided insurance of Rs 50 lakh each for their this dedication .
