JAMMU, Mar 28: Mohammad Maqbol State President and Gurmeet Singh General Secretary (J&K Cordination Committee of Trade Unions (JKCCTU) suggested the Govt. Of J&K to deduct one day basic salary of all Government & Semi-Govt employees including pensioners from the March salary 2020 to fight the COVID-19 Caronovirus pandemic.
We also demanded the Govt. to ensure safety measures of all the employees who are associated with essential services and emergency duties like Medical and para medical staff, Electricity, Water Supply Revenue, Food supply, municipality etc. who are vulnerable to this dangerous virus. We also appeal to all the employees and workers and the General public to fully cooperate with the Govt. Police, NGO,s and all other agencies who are doing commendable job in this hour of crises. |
