Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 29: The initiative taken by the Director School Education, Jammu vide Circular no: 11-DSEJ OF 2020 dt: 27- 03-2020 to compensate for loss of studies of the students due to the closure of schools in view of COVID-19 crisis is hailed by the members of the J&K Private Schools’ Association , Jammu.
In a press release General Secretary of JKPSA Ajay Gupta said that the provision of online home classes by the department will engage and utilize the proper working of the students to enable them to work on a single platform as per the academic calendar designed by the education department. To make the application of online ‘Home classes’ by the department more effective association demanded from the government to pass on necessary directions to the schools authorities’ to declare the result of home classes i.e. 1st to 7th and 9th after consolidating the marks of already conducted U1, U2, T1 and U3 exams by the school authorities in phased manner under the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation Scheme (CCE) for the larger interest of the students to dilute the examination phobia so that students can focus on online ‘Home classes’ to their next higher class as done by the ‘KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN’ on March24,2020 . Due to sudden lockdown the President of the Association Kamal Gupta, also appealed to the government to pass direction to all ‘National Banks’ to grant loan at zero percent interest to all those promoters who are running small schools with low budget and solely dependent on this venture so that they can pay salaries to their teaching and non- teaching staff in this critical juncture.
