Jammu, Apr 18 : The Jammu Police arrested eight persons including seven Myanmar nationals, in connection with the violation of ‘social distancing’ flouting lockdown orders in Narwal here on city outskirts.
Police here said on Saturday that during patrolling on Friday, police party at Narwal found some people gathered for worship at Karyani Talab Mosque in violation of lockdown order.
A case was registered and all eight persons were arrested on the spot from the Mosque. Seven arrested persons, all hailing from Myanmar, are presently living in Kargil Colony, Jammu, police said. |
