| COVID-19: Shastri seeks Rs 1 Crore for martyr Journalist | | |

Jammu, Apr 26: President National Mazdoor Conference Subash Shastri demanded compensation of one crore to those who have sacrificed their lives for the country and also demanded relief from all the state governments for the journalist and their families. Shastri appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting to intervene in the most important and sensitive issue of working journalists who are frontline warriors and are playing extraordinary role in these hard days. In a statement issue here today Shastri Shastri said the fourth pillar of Indian democracy is on the job putting their lives at risk as cororna warriors too. Shasri said that the process should include all journalists who are accredited or non accredited because all journalists are working equally day and night in the times of pandemic, he added. |
