Jammu, Apr 30: Jammu Kashmir Administration has issued an advisory instructing that detailed SoPs will be issued to facilitate and organise the movement for Labour and students who have been or are being brought back to Union Territory of Jammu Kashmir in compliance with the MHA order. The administration has clearly stated that no movement will be allowed without the prior consent of the Jammu Kashmir Administration.Defaulters including unregulated arrivals will be sent to quarantine for 21 days in Lakhanpur. Rohit Kansal, Pr Secy Planning and Information, J&K through his twitter handle tweeted the above information keeping in view the ruckus it could cause. ALL Unregulated arrivals to be quarantined for 21 days at Lakhanpur. In the order, the MHA had asked all state governments and Union Territory (UT) administrations to make necessary arrangements for return of its residents only through buses. The lockdown has left a huge number of students and migrant labourers stranded in various parts of the country. Over the past few days, there have been individual efforts by some states to bring stranded residents home. According to reports, the Jammu & Kashmir administration in the past few days brought back over 6,000 labourers and students of the Union Territory, who were stranded in various parts of the country. With this, the total count of those brought back to the UT reached to over 17,700 people, it is said.
