 Jammu, Apr 30: On the directions of worthy Excise Commissioner J&K Govt Rajesh Kumar Shavan KAS and under the supervision of Dy.Excise Commissioner Executive Jammu S.Amarjeet Singh KAS, the Excise team Rajouri led by ETO Rajouri Poonch Sh. Virindar Singh Pawar along with Inspector Mohd. Pervaiz, Sub Inspector Sh Anil Kumar Sharma and Excise staff conducted a series of Excise raids at villages Kallar, Derian ,Doongi of District Rajouri. During the course of raids ,one person namely Sunil Kumar son of Bhola Ram resident of village Derian Tehsil Rajouri was arrested and booked under section of 48 of J and K Excise Act as a plastic cany containing about 5 bottles of illicit liquor recovered from his possession.Besides this, about 70 kgs of Lahan and three plastic cany containing about 15 bottles of illicit liquor recovered from state land of Derian and destroyed on spot. |
