| NMC supports extension in nationwide lockdown | | |

JAMMU, May 3: While justifying the decision of the central government in extending nationwide lock down up to 17th of May as welcome step, President of National Mazdoor conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today expressed solidarity towards the selfless efforts of Defence forces, paramedical staff, doctors, paramilitary forces, safai karamcharis, print and electronic media and all others who are in the fore front of battle against Covid-19 risking their life and doing extraordinary service to nation.
In a statement issued here today, Shastri expressed grave concern over the increase number of cases related to the Covid 19 and demanded that a high power committee headed by Union Health Minister to be immediately constituted to control the day to day Covid-19 cases to those states in which trajectory of Corona Virus has seen exponential increase . Shastri appealed to people of UT J&K to obey the lockdown in high spirits. He also demanded release of pending wages of daily rated workers. |
