JAMMU, May 6: Aam Aadmi Party J&K has appealed to Lt. Governor Girish Chander Murmu to evacuate students, laborers, and other people who are stuck in lockdown and send them to their native places by SRTC buses. This appeal was made jointly by AAP-JK activists including Ram Singh Chauhan, Dr. A.C. Bhagat, Kuldeep Kumar Rao and Mehraj Malik. In Jammu itself students and laborers & others are stuck from districts like Doda, Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Srinagar. Students who are stuck in this situation of lockdown are in a state of mental stress on two counts, firstly they have gone out of pocket & some students putting up in PGs are being forced to leave the PGs as the owners are more in a position to arrange foods in the Mess etc. People stranded due to Corona virus lockdown in Jammu and elsewhere in JK-UT are in distress & confusion as the instructions passed by the UT administrations are inaccessible and not clear to the people. |
