Thermal screening drive held in Ware House | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 2: The day after one labourer of Ware House reported Covid-19 positive, Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market Jammu on Tuesday launched a drive to conduct Thermal Screening of all Labourers, employees and traders working in this Whole Sale Mandi. Camp organized under the Supervision of Rattan Lal Gupta, President Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market. Around two thousand workers work in this market and thermal screening of labourers was done on the first day. According to General Secretary of Federation, Deepak Gupta, a labourer working in ware house tested corona positive. This create panic among the workers and traders, Because of this the whole mandi was also remained closed on Monday. On Monday whole mandi was sanitized with the help of Jammu Muncipal Corporation(JMC). Today Federation took the initiative of Thermal Screening of its Man Power. The Federation is taking every precautionary step to ensure that no worker or businessman gets infected, he said. He said that the workers, employees and traders are being checked from time to time and in this direction a thermal screening camp was organized Today. Gupta said that all this is being done in the interest of the employees, traders and the Jammu city, to prevent the spread of the corona virus. Gupta also thanked the Commissioner JMC Avni Lawasa for her cooperation in sanitization of Ware House-Nehru Market. On this occasion free face masks and sanitizers also distributed among labourers, employees and traders of Ware House Nehru Market. On This occasion, Sr. Vice. President Dheeraj Gupta, Vc. President Munish Mahajan, Secretary Abhimanyu Gupta and Cashier Vishal Gupta were also present. |
