| TMF expresses concern over NC statement | | |

Jammu, June 20: Team Mask Force has expressed concern over statement given by National Conference president Farooq Abdullah regarding restoration of pre-5th August position in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to press release, Chairman Vijay Sharma called for NC president as to what signals were received by them on the statements made by two senior most leaders and Union cabinet ministers Nitin Gadkari &Union Defence Minister Raj Nath Singh to appeal central Govt to restore pre 5th August position i.e., before Abrogation of Article 370 & 35-A .
The NC member of Parliament Dr.Farooq Abdullah, Mohd.Akbar Lone and Hasnain Masoodi and the Sr.Party leaders Mohd.Shaffi Uri, Mian Altaf Ahmed,Shammi Oberoi, Qamar Ali Akhoon, Devinder Singh Rana,Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy and Javed Rana in a joint statement welcomed Gadhkari’s statement that India is not interested in expansion in land either from Pakistan or China “ and that India only wanted peace and amity.
NC party leaders however stated that “mere statements “to create an atmosphere of peace ,love,and amity” shall have no meaning unless GOI respects the “political aspirations of the peoples of Jammu and Kashmir. |
