DDC Udhampur inspects progress on dev projects in Dudu, Latti area

UDHAMPUR, July 4: To monitor the status and progress of ongoing developmental works being executed by the PMGSY, R&B, RDD and other departments, District Development Commissioner, Dr. Piyush Singla along with DIG Udhampur Reasi Range , Sujit Kumar Singh conducted an extensive tour of remote areas of Sub –Division Dudu.
On the way, the DDC also took stock of Chenani Sudhmahadev four-lanning road. Inspecting the pace of work, the DDC stressed on expeditious completion of the project and adhering to quality specifications.
The DDC also interacted with elected representatives viz BDC Chairperson, Surpanchs, Panchs and general public of the areas who projected various demands. The DDC gave a patient hearing and assured all possible help from the district administration for redress of their grievances. The DDC & DIG also met with the family of the person, who died few days back at Seoj Dhar under mysterious circumstances and the police is investigating the case. They assured the family a transparent and time bound inquiry and handed over a cheque of Rs 1.5 lakh to family of deceased out of Red Cross fund.
The DDC issued on the spot instructions to officers of concerned department for completion of all ongoing projects in stipulated time frame without compromising on the quality and leaving no scope of any complaint from any quarter.
