| JKNPP Councillors call on JMC Commissioner | | |

UDHAMPUR, July 4: Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party Councillors from Udhampur Municipal Council called upon Commissioner JMC Avny Lavasa IAS yesterday in her office Jammu & also submitted memorandum. In this regard, today a Press conference was addressed by Ward no 2 Councillor (MCU) Sunil Proach in which he informs that the works under different head i.e 14 th Finance Commission, IDMT, District plan has been allotted to the Contractors and some of the works are completed where as some are under progress and also some works were not started yet. He said that due to the abolition of engineering wing in the Urban local body which are not going to start has been abandoned. He said that due to this many developmental works has been affected in Udhampur and the suffering of the people is increasingly, Proach added.
Further, Proach said that they had approached the Executive Engineer PWD to take up these works, but they required proper handover & taken over as well as current status. He appealed to provide the one septic tank cleaning with fitted with Tractor to the municipal council Udhampur, Municipal committees of Ramnagar and Chenani. Sunil Proach and Jagdish Kumar urged JMC Municipal Commissioner to depute the Engineering Wing to the Municipal Council Udhampur so that the current status of the can be provided to the Engineers & the pending developmental works may be start soon. JMC Commissioner assured to Panthers Party Councillors for early redressal of their Issues. Wardno 20 Councillor Jagdish Kumar was also present. |
