Kashmir football academia’, 20-year-old Suhaira Ashraf opens her own football academy | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, July 5: Breaking barriers and outshining in the world of sports, twenty-year-old Suhaira Ashraf from Kashmir is a stellar example of young minds who are setting up a revolution in their own ways. She is Kashmir’s one of the youngest female football coaches, who has recently opened up her football academy titled "Kashmir football academia" to train junior players in Srinagar. The twenty-year-old says that she is going to teach both boys and girls in this academy. “I am imparting training to both boys and girls in my academy,” she said. The academy has been set up at Eidgah in Srinagar. Becoming the spotlight of Kashmir, she is also a coach at the State Football academy Jammu and Kashmir currently. Earlier in an interview with Brighter Kashmir, Suhaira told that she has been coaching the junior players for the last two years. Born in the Qamarwari area of Srinagar city, she started playing football in her childhood and continues it to date. “I have started my football career in my childhood, when I was in 2nd class. For the last ten years, I have been associated with it actively,” Suhaira was quoted as saying in the interview. Suhaira’s story is no less than a great lesson of dedication and compassion for one’s dream. Besides imparting training to junior players at her academy, the young footballer also provides training to school children at Polo ground in Srinagar and Budgam. |
