| MD KPDCL reviews power supply work along Amarnath cave track | | |

SRINAGAR, July 5: Managing Director Kashmir Power Discom (KPDCL) Mohammad Aijaz Asad today visited Baltal, Domail and Railpathri along with the team of Engineers and field staff of O&M circle Ganderbal to inspect the power supply works executed by the department at different locations.
During the inspection, Executive Engineer ED Ganderbal Aftab Ahmed briefed the MD KPDCL that 33KM of 11kv line from Gagangeer to Domail has been completely restored besides 18 number DT substations of different capacities and 28 DG sets of various capacities have also been installed including 710 number LED lights have also been installed at base camp Baltal, Domail and along the track up to Kali Mata. MD KPDCL was also apprised about the illumination of 1st 2KM track by KPDCL which was previously done by an NGO. SE South also informed that all the arrangements related to Power supply have been made at the Holy Cave shrine of Amarnath.
He detailed that 20 Number DG sets of different capacity and 237 LED lights have been installed between Kalimata to Holy Cave. |
