| J&K cadre IAS Officer Aijaz Asad gets Rashtriya Gaurav Award | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 9: An IAS officer from Jammu & Kashmir Mohammad Aijaz Asad has been selected for Rashtriya Gaurav Award for his outstanding achievements in the field of Administration & Literature.
The award is given by India International Friendship Society (IIFS) to a few extraordinary Indian citizens who have achieved excellence in various fields such as Education, Politics & Social Work, Fine Arts, Industry & Science and Technology, etc. The past recipients of ‘Rashtriya Gaurav Award’ include Beatified Mother Teresa; former Vice-president B.D. Jatti; Governors like Keshari Nath Tripathi Governor of West Bengal; Gen J J Singh (Rtd) Ex-Governor of Arunachal Pradesh; Justice M. Fathima Beevi; Justice P.N. Bhagwati; Former Air-Chief-Marshal N.C. Suri; Former Election Commissioner GVG Krishnamurthy; Former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Prem Kumar Dhumal; Speakers like Dinesh Oraon (Jharkhand).
