Poonch, July 11: District Legal Services Authority Poonch observed “World Population Day” at Poonch. In this Programme Chairman District Legal Services Authority Poonch Madan Lal, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Poonch Javed Rana Hakla, Chairman TLSC Haveli Poonch Som Lal, Advocate Bhanu Partap, Advocate Tariq Hayat, Advocate Mehmood Hussain Shah, Advocate Abdul Majid Khan, Advocate I.A.Bazmi, Advocate Mohd Ishaq Khan, Advocate Mohd Saleem Sheikh, Advocate Naseer-ul-Islam, Advocate Imtiaz Ahmed, Legal Aid Staff, and Para Legal Volunteers participated.
The Speakers dealt with the issues at length and highlighted the problems being faced on account of population explosion particularly in health sector, social security, ecology and environment sector and pointed out that the explosion of population has put the tremendous pressure on the available resources and is resulting into emergence of diverse problems.
Similar programmes were also organised by TLSC Surankote and Mendhar.
The Programme at Surankote was presided over by Chairman TLSC Surankote Ashan Malik (Sub-Judge).
