JAMMU, July 12: A summer camp cricket tournament organized in Akhnoor was inaugurated today. The tournament has been organized by Sonu Malhotra, Rajinder Sharma and Chandan Sharma under the supervision of KR Sham Singh, chairman Akhnoor Tehsil Cricket Committee.
Rakesh Malhotra, Councilor Ward Number 6 was chief guest on the occasion. He was accompanied by DN Abrol, ex-chairman MC Akhnoor.
Speaking on the occasion, Malhotra congratulated the organizing committee and said that these type of summer camp tournaments will keep youth busy in sports which is good for their physical health and will not deviate their minds to drugs and other anti-social activities. |
