Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha observes “Black Day” | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 13: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha (KKHMS) on Monday paid rich tributes to martyrs and observed 13th July 1931 as “Black Day”. On the occasion KKHMS members led by their Chairman/President Er Ramesh Chander Mahajan paid homage to those who were killed by communal forces. The programme was held amid following social distancing besides observing other advisories issued by the administration to contain COVID -19 pandemic . A two minutes silence was also observed while remembering the carnage of Minority Hindus ( Pandits and Khatries) of Kashmir valley. The members also recalled horrific events of Kashmir on the fateful day in which a tirade against the minority Kashmiri Hindu was launched as the communal forces looted, burnt the properties, shops and houses of minority Hindus and Simultaneous communal violence unleashed against all Kashmiri Hindus communities who were living in various parts of Kashmir. |
