JMC should educate people to donate Plasma to COVID-19 patients: Kavinder

Jammu, July 15: Former Deputy Chief Minister, J&K, Kavinder Gupta, held a meeting with Mayor, JMC Chander Mohan Gupta and others to discuss in length the role of Jammu Municipal Corporation during COVID-19 Pandemic and other developmental issues.
Kavinder Gupta, specifically requested Mayor to instruct JMC officials to educate and urge upon inhabitants of Jammu city through means of print and electronic media and hoardings to donate Plasma to COVID-19 patients to save their lives.
Kavinder also discussed issues related to cleanliness, Smart City, road connectivity, development of Chowks, beautification of Jammu city, installation of street lights and providing more places for the parking of the vehicles around Jammu city. He said that concerted efforts are being made to develop Gandhi Nagar Constituency on modern lines with basic amenities, better road connectivity, uninterrupted power supply, safe drinking water, healthcare facilities and better infrastructure. Kavinder also discussed the ongoing works at different places in Jammu city. Kavinder Gupta thanked JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta for doing good work in difficult time of COVID-19 crisis.
He also stressed upon the Councillors of different wards to ensure proper sanitation, regular lifting of garbage, removal of solid waste from drainages etc.
