| Kavinder kick starts development works in Belicharana, Gorkha Nagar | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 19: Giving a push to the developmental activities in Gandhi Nagar constituency, former Deputy Chief Minister and BJP senior leader, Kavinder Gupta, along with former MLC Ch Vikram Randhawa, kick started the development works related to upgradation of lanes and drains in Belicharana area of the Constituency.
Kavinder Gupta and Ch Vikram Randhawa also inaugurated the newly constructed Ram Leela stage in Gorkha Nagar area of Bahu Fort.
While addressing the local gatherings at these places, Gupta said that the developmental works shall be accelerated in coming days as many of them have been approved and shall contribute for the improvement of the basic amenities in the area.
He said that the projects for the up-gradation of drainage system in Belicharana have been approved and after the up-gradation of the approved drainage system, people shall be relieved from the problem of water logging during the rainy season.
On the occasion, people projected various developmental related demands which were mainly related to up gradation of bye lanes, water supply, sanitation, etc and Gupta assured to take up work of lanes and bye lanes which are in deplorable conditions and needs up gradation.
The former Deputy CM said that his focus is on the development projects for making the Gandhi Nagar Constituency as a model constituency and uplifting the living standards of the people by providing all the basic amenities.
Gupta stressed upon the JMC officials to complete the ongoing works in Belicharana at the earliest ensuring quality work.
