| Samba Police arrests absconding rape accused | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, July 31: Police arrested a history sheeter who was absconding and evading his arrest from the last five years in a rape case registered against him at Police Station Samba.
Acting on reliable information, Samba Police conducted raid at Arnia area of district Jammu and succeeded in apprehending the absconder namely Nazir Ahmed, son of Ibrahim Ahmed of Tanda, Supwal A/P Arnia from Nallah Aiek, Arnia, Jammu wanted in case FIR No. 195/2015 US 366/376/342/147 RPC registered at PS Samba. The accused was at large and evading arrest after commission of crime.
The arrest warrant of the absconder under section 512 CrPC has been issued by the Court Samba.
The accused is also a history sheeter and involved in theft & attempt to murder cases for which 03 cases registered against him at PS Samba.
The details of cases include case FIR No. 234/2007 U/S 379 RPC at PS Samba, case FIR No. 50/2015 U/S 307/147/148/149 RPC at PS Samba and case FIR No. 05/2018 U/S 307/353/427/336/147/148/149 RPC at PS Samba
Beside this, a case FIR No. 53/2013 U/S 188 RPC, 2/3 PCA Act was also stands registered against him at PS Ghagwal.
